From another device

Go to https://www.icloud.com/find

Sign in with your Apple ID

Select your iPhone 17 Pro Max

You can now:

📍 See its location on a map (if online)

🔊 Play Sound (useful if it’s nearby)

🔒 Mark as Lost (very important)

❌ Erase iPhone (last resort)

From another Apple device

Open Find My app

Devices → select your iPhone

2️⃣ Turn on Lost Mode

When you mark it as lost:

The phone is locked remotely

Apple Pay is disabled

You can show a custom message (e.g. “This phone is lost. Call +44…”)

Location tracking continues

✅ Even if the phone is offline, Lost Mode activates when it reconnects.

3️⃣ If the phone is offline or switched off

Don’t panic — newer iPhones (including Pro models) support:

Find My Network

This allows your phone to be located via nearby Apple devices, even when:

Battery is low

Phone is offline

Phone is powered off (for some time)

You’ll see the last known location.
